Excellent tolerance to cold winters. Large delicious figs reward after a warm summer and autumn! This deciduous fruit tree is also grown for its magnificent bark and architecturally interesting leaves and tree shape. Lovely dark fruits; concidered to be the ‘King of figs’! Needs full sun and free draining soil. Restrict roots near a building so that fruit are produced rather than plant growth!
